The Wisconsin Emergency Medical Services Association is seeking an Executive Director.

The Wisconsin EMS Association currently represents over 7,200 members throughout Wisconsin and the region by promoting education, sharing information, facilitating legislative actions, and providing numerous other membership services. The association publishes a bi-monthly magazine and hosts one of the largest EMS conferences in the country.

The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors and provides day-to-day management, administration services, and is responsible for the membership programs and advocacy functions. The Executive Director also responds to public and member inquiries regarding association and industry related issues.

The most qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, non-profit management experience, or a related field; at least three years experience in an association administrative management position or equivalent; excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational skills; the ability to work with other leaders throughout Wisconsin and other states involved in EMS; a general understanding of pre-hospital systems is desirable. This is a full-time exempt position based out of the association office. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
